How the Big Ten Works

Choosing between the Big Ten home, away and third shirts is easier once you know what each one is for.

One practical note: the third shirt is produced in smaller runs than the home. If a design catches your eye, it is worth buying in-season rather than waiting.

Youth and toddler sizes are listed by age rather than letter — a youth large fits roughly a 12–13 year old. Women's cuts use their own size run and are slimmer through the waist than the men's equivalent.

Key Dates This Season

Three rules keep a Big Ten jersey looking new: cold water, inside out, no tumble dryer.

Cold wash, 30 °C. Heat is what lifts printed crests.
Inside out. Protects the print from rubbing against other garments.
Air dry. A tumble dryer will crack a nameset faster than anything else.

Skip fabric softener — it leaves a residue that blocks the fabric's moisture-wicking finish. If the shirt picks up a mark, spot-clean it rather than running a full cycle.

What if my Big Ten jersey arrives damaged?

Email a photo to jerseyhelp@hotmail.com within 48 hours of delivery and we will replace the shirt at no charge. We do not need the damaged item back, but we may ask you to keep it until the replacement has arrived in case there is anything our quality team needs to check.
