Kits & Club Affiliations

Every shirt in NHL carries the club crest on the left chest and the competition badge on the sleeve. The sleeve patch is the giveaway for which competition the shirt was made for — conference play, or a tournament run.

Size & Nameset

Sizing is broadly consistent across NHL, which means if you know your size in one club's shirt you know it in all of them. The exception is player-issue cuts, which run slimmer.

Every product page lists the actual chest measurement in inches alongside the letter. When you are between two sizes, trust the measurement over the letter.

Do NHL jerseys run true to size?

SportsFanFit's NHL jerseys use the standard fan-version cut, which is relaxed through the chest and shoulders. For a stadium-ready fit, order the size you usually take — move up one only if you prefer it baggy. Kids and toddler sizes follow age rather than letters; the chart sits on each product page.

What's the difference between home, away and third NHL sweaters?

The home NHL sweater uses the team's primary colour and is worn at home games. The away is the road colourway. The third sweater is a seasonal design, often a Reverse Retro, that the team wears for a stretch of games and then retires.

Do you offer team orders for NHL jerseys?

How Should It Fit?

The fan cut sits relaxed through the chest and shoulders, so most buyers stay at their normal letter size. Size up only if you want it baggy or plan to wear it over a hoodie.

If you are between two sizes, the chest measurement on the product page is more reliable than the letter. Youth and toddler sizes are graded by age, and women's cuts run slimmer through the waist.
